Southern
California Junior Bach Festival
The Southern California Junior Bach Festival is held
annually to encourage the study of the music of Johann
Sebastian Bach. The Recitals are open to keyboardists,
instrumentalists, and vocal students. The Branch Bach
Festival is adjudicated and outstanding students are chosen
to perform at the Regional Festivals. Winners from the
Regional Festival may enter the Complete Works Audition
(CWA) and must perform the same music in the same category
that they performed at the Branch and Regional Festivals,
but complete as indicated in the official repertoire list.
Registration for the 2009 Festival may be done only through the SCJBF web site. No hard copies of the applications will be distributed.
