of Merit™
Encourages and promotes consistent and conscientious effort on the part of the student, rewarding meritorious achievement with certificates and special recognition. Students are evaluated by State examinations; outstanding young musicians are afforded the opportunity to appear on State Convention programs. After State adjudication, it offers opportunities for recognition and performance through Branch Honors Festival, and Junior/Senior Recital. A syllabus can be ordered from the State Office or purchased at local music stores. Certificate of Merit™ registration fees are non-refundable.

Certificate of Merit™ Honors Recitals
Recitals given by students recognized for their outstanding achievement in their Certificate of Merit™ performances during testing period. There will be two recitals given - one by Senior level students who are the most advanced and oldest of our student participants and a Junior level recital for younger student achievers.
